Vija Arins

Arins, Vija Portage, Ml formerly of Saginaw, Ml Passed away on April 28, 2018 at the age of 78 years. The daughter of the late Nikolajs and Lidija (Vigants) Arins was born on January 27, 1940 in Krustpils, Latvia. She worked for Wickes Bros. Manufacturing. Vija enjoyed ballroom dancing, playing the piano and organ, needlepoint and gardening. She was very active in her church and served on the board for many years. Surviving are several relatives and friends including her close friend Metra Krautmanis. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Biruta Puike-Wilson will officiate with burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral chapel on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
