Thomas E. Petree Saginaw, Michigan Passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 4, 2015. Age 75 years. The son of the late, Clarence E. and Frances (Moore) Petrey was born December 30, 1939 in Harlan County, Kentucky. He married Alberta V. Aldrich, January 5, 1963. She passed away December 24, 2006. Thomas served with the U. S. Army. He was employed by General Motors Corp, retiring in 2000 with 38 years of service. He attended Zion Lutheran Church, Freeland, was an avid Detroit Tigers and Lions fan and enjoyed going to the casino. Surviving are three daughters and their husbands, Tammy and Mike Proux; Sherry and Ken Williams; Stacy and Mike Haman; 7 grandchildren, Michael Proux and his fianc, Autumn; Adam, Alex and Trevor Proux; Thomas Petree; Jasmin Williams; Kirsten Haman; a brother, a sister and their spouses, Clarence and Dee Dee Petrey Jr; Ida and Harold Vervinck; several nieces and nephews. A daughter, Shelly Petree, and three sisters, Barbara Linker, Norma Wallis, Maxine Hill and a brother, Lawrence Petrey have predeceased him. In accordance with Mr. Petree's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 9, 2015, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Robert Schmidt will officiate. Friend may call at the Chapel from Noon Saturday until the time of the memorial service.
