Susan Gallery

Gallery, Susan Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018, at the Hazel Findley Country Manor in St. Johns, Michigan, at the age of 90 years. Susan Messner was born September 10, 1927, in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Catherine (Bart) and Frank Messner. She married Reuben Jackson Gallery September 18, 1953; he predeceased her August 9, 2012. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church of Saginaw and also affiliated with Kingdom of Heaven Ministries in Flint Township. She was an avid bowler, loved spending time with family, and loved to cook. Surviving are her daughter, Debra (Rick) Mockridge; her son, Jack (Donna) Gallery; three grandchildren, Erik, Jada and Jalen Gallery; a brother, Henry Messner; several nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Reuben Jackson Gallery, and by five sisters and one brother, Anna M. Weirauch, Catherine Messner, Margaret M. Zakrzewski, Elizabeth F. Manor, Theresa Dubois, and Frank Messner. Funeral service will take place at 4:00 p.m. Monday, April 2, 2018, at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, where her family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Dr. Lonnie W. Brown will officiate. Private entombment will be in Oakwood Memorial Mausoleum. Her family extends special thanks to all at Hazel Findley Country Manor and American Home Hospice for their kindness and care.
