Stephen Craig Tessin Hemlock, Michigan Went to be with the Lord, Friday, April 27, 2018. Age 68 years. The son of the late Robert C. and Doris Ellen (Potter) Tessin was born August 2, 1949 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was a graduate of Hemlock High School, Class of 1967. He was employed by General Motors, Saginaw Steering Gear for 38 years and was a member of the U.A.W Local 699. Stephen was a life-long member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Hemlock. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who was happiest when outdoors. He was a long time member of Ducks Unlimited. Surviving are three brothers, one sister and their spouses, Barry R. and Karla Tessin, Dean A. and Karen Tessin, Joel C. and Mary Tessin, and Jan C. Tessin; five nieces and nephews and their spouses, Karrie and Paul Jarosz, Brian and Michele Tessin, Melissa and Jason LaJoice, Katrina and Keith Dailey and Nicholas and Jennifer Tessin; 12 great-nieces and great-nephews; his cousin and his wife, Scott and Debbie Wylie. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 2461 N. Raucholz Rd. Hemlock. Dr. William Morris will officiate with burial in Richland Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday and then on Wednesday at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider St. Peter Lutheran Church, Hemlock.
