Shirley May Bauer Thomas Twp. Michigan Our beloved mother and grandmother passed away on June 20, 2018, at the age of 81 years. Shirley was born December 2, 1936, in Saginaw, Michigan. She enjoyed bowling, poker, 4-wheeling, being in nature, birdwatching and drinking an occasional beer!!! Shirley will be missed by her children, Terri (Paul) Campbell, Bruce (Barb) Bauer, Jeff (Mona) Bauer; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband James Bauer; her parents Albert and Beatrice (VanHorn) Mavis; and her siblings. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday June 25, 2018, at W.L. Case & Company 201 N. Miller Rd. Mr. Clint Bryant will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Covenant VNA Hospice.
