Shirley J. Nunamaker

Passed away on Monday, October 16, 2017 at the age of 88 years. Shirley J. Schaeding was born on August 10, 1929 in Saginaw. She married Eugene E. Numamaker, Sr.; he predeceased her on August 24, 1986. Shirley was a member of Faith Ev. Lutheran Church. She enjoyed camping, bowling and spending time with her family Surviving are her children: Diane and Vern Tolles, Linda and Michael McInnis, Joe and Tara Nunamaker, Lori and Loren Schweinsberg, Mike Nunamaker, grandchildren: Michelle, Trisha, Nathan, Kimberly, Jeremy, Sean, Jenna, 6 great-grandchildren, her sister Sally (Orv) Hartung and brother Howard (Ann) Schaeding, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Besides her husband, Shirley was predeceased by her father, Martin Schaeding and her grandson Justin Nunamaker. The family would like to thank Independence Village and Dr. Minoo Kheterphal and staff for the loving care they gave Shirley. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 20, 2017 at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church, 4432 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Kristina M. Truhan will officiate with burial at Spaulding Township Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday and on Friday at church from 10:00 a.m., until the time of the funeral service.
