Shirley J. Bryce

Shirley J. Bryce Grand Rapids, Michigan Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister went home to the Lord on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at the age of 74 years. Shirley was born May 20, 1943, in Saginaw County, Michigan to the late Walter and Caroline (Schultheiss) Anaman. She retired from Dow Corning after over 20 years of service. She enjoyed going to the Casino, coloring in her adult coloring books, and eating candy. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be missed by her husband Everett Bryce; children, Kim (Jeff) Baird, John (Kim) Durkee, and Vicky Bryce Wright; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her siblings, Norman Anaman and Kathy Rogoza; and many extended family members. She was predeceased by her daughter, Debbie; and her first husband, Lyle Durkee. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 18, 2017, at St. John Lutheran Church 2290 Pretzer Rd. Rev. Phil Bigelow will officiate with burial at 2:00 p.m. at Floral Gardens in Bay City. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Road and again on Monday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
