Ruth Elaine Hubbard Saginaw, Michigan Went home to be with the Lord on July 27, 2018, at the age of 64 years. Ruth was born January 2, 1954, in Oscoda, Michigan to the late David L. and Nancy H. (Stone) Huston. She worked as a phlebotomist and switchboard operator for Saginaw Medical Center for many years. She will be missed by her children, Lee (Eric) Johnstin and Alexander Mielke; grandchildren, Lucas, Ella and Payson; siblings, Dave (Barb) Huston, Ann (Charles) Taylor, Sandy (Jim) Theis and Janet Feasel; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thank-you to her "family" at Saginaw Senior Care and Rehab where she resided for the past five years. The family would also like to give many thanks to the staff of Cartwright Hospice House where she spent her last days. Memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 4, 2018, at First Presbyterian Church 121 Harrison. Rev. Ted McCulloch will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Rd. and again at church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to Cartwright Care Center.
