Ruth Borchard Klement

Ruth Borchard Klement Saginaw, Michigan Join us in celebrating Ruths life as she went home to heaven joining her husband, Augie, October 18, 2018. Ruth Lorraine Borchard was born October 22, 1923 in Saginaw to the late Frank and Elsie (Trier) Borchard. She married Augie Klement on June 6, 1942 and together they celebrated almost 75 years of marriage. Together they owned and operated Klement Press, Inc. for over 70 years. Augie passed away March 29, 2017. Ruth had a deep faith in God and was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church in Frankenmuth where she sang in the choir. She was an avid Michigan State fan and had season football tickets for over 50 years. Mostly, she cherished spending time with her family. Surviving are her children and their spouses, Donna and Rev. Ronald Semro, Angleton, Texas; Gerald and Cheryl Klement, Saginaw; Ruth Ann and Sam Izzat, Saginaw; Bonnie and Mike Schultz, Bay City; Karen and Sparky Thomas, Hemlock; her grandchildren, Rev. Jonathan (Susan) Semro, Tim (Heather) Semro, Elizabeth (Steven) Patterson, Becky (Jon) Conde, Paul (Tammy) Gremel, Jodi (Scott) Hagenbach, Nate (Catheren) Izzat, Noah (Kristi) Izzat, Dr. Benjamin Izzat, Jonah Izzat, Joshua (Lissa) Bannerman, Justin (Tanya) Bannerman, Jordan (Sarah) Bannerman, Jenna (Matt) Wardlow, Jake (Erica) Thomas, Kyle Thomas, Sean (Jessica) Thomas; many great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Norman, Roy and Eugene Borchard. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 22, 2018 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. where we will honor her life on her birthday. Rev. Jeffery Luplow will officiate along with Ruths grandson, Rev. Jonathan Semro. Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. Monday until the time of funeral service.
