Russell Scripter

Russell Scripter, Bridgeport, Michigan

Russell passed away on February 8, 2020 at Covenant Rehabilitation Center at the age of 66 years. He was born on July 16, 1953 to the late Virgil and Mary Scripter. He later met Vicki Fellows, the two have cherished 39 years together.

Russell was a self employed musician, singer and songwriter. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Saginaw Moose Lodge. Russells hobbies included music, horseshoes, hunting, fishing, archery, and riding his motorcycle. Above all he treasured his time with friends and family, especially his time spent with Vicki.

Left to cherish his memory is his longtime love, Vicki Fellows and his children; Lloyd Scripter, Joseph Kline, April Merrill, Christina Scripter, Jeremy Kline, Jennifer Kline, Justin Kline, Ronald Fellows, and Kenneth "Butch" Fellows. Also surviving him are his grandchildren and great grandchildren, totaling over 50 altogether.

Russell was predeceased by his brothers Virgil, Peter and George Scripter.

A memorial service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Calvary Chapel Fellowship (7501 Frankenmuth Road, Vassar, Michigan). Pastor Tony Jacobs will officiate.
