In his younger years, he rode a Harley Davidson going on many cross country trips with his rider buddies. Ron golfed, bowled, camped, loved to read, listen to music, and cook, especially his home cooked Thanksgiving dinners his favorite holiday. As a young man, he was a good baseball and basketball player, and remained an avid sports fan all his life. He enjoyed relaxing over a "Bud" with family and friends, and a glass of "Pinch" at the end of the day. Ron was a very generous man and a man who valued his family with all his heart.
