Roger C. Dunn

Dunn, Roger C. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at his home. Age 76 years. The son of the late Oliver and Shirley (Albright) Dunn was born August 13, 1936 in Crooksville, Ohio. He married Geraldine A. French, February 7, 1959. She survives him. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Roger was employed by Consumers Energy, retiring in 1993 with thirty-five years of service. He was a member of Utilities Workers Local #144. He enjoyed camping, boating, playing euchre and especially spending time at Lost Valley Campground near Lupton, MI. Surviving besides his wife, Geraldine, are three daughters, one son and their spouses, Rebecca and Ralph Martin, Virginia; Jacqueline and Robert Gales; Terry and Debra Dunn; Vicky and Gary McKay, all of Saginaw County; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Jeffery and Jennifer Smith; Shawn Martin; Zachary Liedke; Danielle and Rick Alvarado; Brandon Rogers; Jason and Jennifer Stevens; Brittani Dunn; seven great grandchildren; a brother and sisters, Melvin and Joan Dunn; Marilyn Winterstien; many nieces and nephews. A brother, Charles, two sister, Winifred Aryton; Audrey Mikulewicz, two brothers-in-law, Martin Mikulewicz and Bernard Winterstien have predeceased him. The funeral service will take place at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2013, at the Case Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Hwy. Rev. Ronald Sinclair will officiate with Military honors by V.F.W. Post # 1859. Friends may call at the Chapel from 11:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of the funeral service.
