Robert J. Dunn

Dunn, Robert J. Saginaw, MI Beloved, husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the age of 75 years. The son of the late Gerald and Ruth (Hopkins) Dunn was born on January 6, 1941 in Saginaw. He graduated from Saginaw High School the class of 1959. He served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Leahy. Robert married Kathleen Beebe on December 2, 1972; she survives him. He retired from GM Powertrain plant in 2003. Robert was a member of the UAW Local #362 and enjoyed wood carving, fishing and golfing. Surviving besides his wife, Kathleen are a son, Len (Sandy) Harrington of Freeland; grandchildren: Morgan, Tyler and Nicholas, his siblings: Cathy (Tom) Honeman, of Saginaw; Dorothy (Dan) Jenkins of Coleman; Geri Dunn of Marquette; George (Tom) Dunn of Coleman; Kathy (Jerry) Anderson, Peggy Bradley, Debra (Martin) Bradley all of Kansas City, MO; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Judy Robinson, Diane (Ivan) Baze, Glenda Erdman, Barbara (Dick) Tolles all of Saginaw; Terry Cronk of Coleman and many nieces and nephews. Robert was predeceased by a brother, David Dunn and two sister's Margaret Cronk and Sharon Cross. Funeral Service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 4, 2016 at the W. L. Case and Company, 201 N. Miller Rd. Rev. Robert Schmidt will officiate with military burial at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Thursday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the wishes of the family.
