Robert Cook

Robert Cook Bridgeport, Michigan Passed away Friday, May 25, 2018 at St. Marys of Michigan. Age 80 years. Robert was born January 14, 1938 in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of the late Carl and Mary (Kristo) Cook. He married Judith Settle, May 14, 1999. She survives him. He retired from the Saginaw County Road Commission. He loved to bowl and was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed going to the Buena Vista Senior Center. Robert loved to talk to anyone that would listen. Surviving besides his wife, Judith are three children. Carl Cook; Cathy (David) Baase; Philip Cook; two step-children, Betty Cook; Gerald (Christina) Tappen Jr.; eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Christine Zobel. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 1, 2018, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Hwy. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit at the Chapel from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday.
