Robert Charles Bishop

Robert Charles Bishop Hemlock, Michigan Our loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather went home to the Lord on October 8, 2017, at the age of 67 years. Bob was born December 25, 1949, in Saginaw to the late George and Sarah (Savage) Bishop. He served in the U.S. Army as a parachute rigger. He owned Cornerstone Fabricating and Construction. Bob loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting, flying, and sharing his faith. Bob was a member of Old Town Christian Outreach. He fully supported the standards they uphold of giving back to the community. He furthered his own beliefs by doing missionary work in Africa, Guatemala, and West Virginia. Bob will be deeply missed by his wife Linda (Albrecht) Bishop; children, Robert (Shannon) Bishop Jr., Heather (Chris) Frederick, Craig (Kerry) Bishop, Melissa (Jeff) Danner, Jerri Burdette, Sarah Bishop, and Molly Bishop; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Larry (Monica) Bishop, Shelly Marshall, and John (Lyla) Bishop; and many extended family members and friends. He was predeceased by his sister Charlie Salesky. A celebration of Bobs life will take place at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, October 12, 2017, at Old Town Christian Outreach, 600 Gratiot Rd.
