Ralph A. Dey

Dey, Ralph A. Saginaw, MI Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle went home to the Lord on Saturday, August 17, 2013, at the age of 58 years. Ralph was born December 25, 1954, in Saginaw to the late Barbara (Federico) and Elmer Dey Jr. He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He retired from General Motors. He loved hunting and playing the lottery. He married Lynne Cox on October 16, 1976. She survives him. He is also survived by his children, Ralph Dey Jr., Douglas (Jennifer) Dey Sr., Kevin (Crystal) Dey, and Danielle (Eric Cooper) Dey; grandchildren, D.J. Mya, Alexis, Gabryel, Kadence, K.J., and Antonio; siblings, Sheila (Wayne) Lamrouex, Janice (Ward) Wilcox, Dawn (Randy) Alexander, Rebecca (Howard) Muzer, Robert (Debrah) Dey, and Kenneth (Belinda) Dey; sister-in-law, Neica Dey; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; special cousin, Charles McNeil Sr.; and close friend, Don (Carla) Villareal. He was predeceased by his brothers Elmer Dey III and William Dey. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church 545 Maple Ridge in Carrollton. Fr. James Bessert will officiate with cremation to follow. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Rd. from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. where the family will gather at 7:00 p.m. for a vigil liturgy followed by the rosary. Friends may also visit with the family on Wednesday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
