Phyllis Jean Bluemer

Phyllis Jean Bluemer (Trinklein) Merrill, Michigan Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2014, surrounded by her family. Age 88 years. The daughter of the late George and Anna (Graham) Trinklein was born August 26, 1926, in James Township. She married Carl Bluemer, October 15, 1949. Her husband of 65 years survives her. Together, Mr. and Mrs. Bluemer worked their family farm. Phyllis volunteered at St. Lukes Hospital (Covenant) and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Iva. Surviving besides her husband, Carl, are a son, two daughters and their spouses, Richard and Judy Bluemer, Merrill, MI; Kathy and Steve McNally, Saginaw, MI; Laura and Ken Schian, Freeland, MI; her grandchildren and their spouses, Kelly and Pat Netzley; Courtney and Mike Schiller; Lindsay McNally; Jay and Holly McNally; Nathan and Melinda McNally; Aaron and Amber McNally; her great grandchildren, Reilie, Easton, Michaela, Shelby, Jason, Merissa, Jordan, Jayce, Lacey and Ayden; a brother and sister-in-law, Staff and June Trinklein; two sisters, Lois Spindler and Joan Trinklein; a brother-in-law, Peter Boos; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters and a brother-in-law, Edith and Jake Schanhals; Nada Boos; a brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Dorothy Trinklein; three brothers-in-law and their wives, Don Spindler; Norm and Evelyn Bluemer; Ervin and Dorothy Bluemer; a sister-in-law and her husband, Clara and Albert Diener. The funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 21, 2014, at Zion Lutheran Church, 17927 Dice Rd. Hemlock. Rev. Paul A. Hauser will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel in Merrill from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday and then at the Church on Friday from Noon until the time of the funeral service.
