Penny Sue Babion

Beloved mother, grandmother, daughter and sister passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 11, 2019 at her home. She was 53 years old. Penny Sue Faulkner was born on February 13, 1965 to Terry M. and Linda L. (Garrison) Faulkner. She was a proud 1983 graduate of Merrill High School. She was lifelong member of the Merrill Congregation Church. In her youth, she was very athletic. She played basketball, powder puff football and was a hurdler with the track team. She enjoyed camping and the outdoors, but truly loved swimming. She will forever be remembered for her kind, caring and selflessness to all. Surviving are two sons, Michael T. Babion, Jr. and his fiance Chelane Washington of Henderson; and Scott P. Babion and his fiance, Jennifer Holcomb of Hemlock; two grandsons, Nathan and Scottie; mother, Linda L. Faulkner of Tell City, IN; two sisters, Sandy L. (Paul) Brewster of Piketon, OH; Teri M. Faulkner and her partner, Cindy L. Zastrow of Hemlock, MI. She was preceded in death by her former spouse, Michael E. Babion; father, Terry M. Faulkner, and a niece, Amanda Taetsch. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 15, 2019 at the Merrill Congregational Church, 245 S. Midland Street, Merrill. Rev. Richard Gossett will officiate.
