Peggy L. Greif

Greif, Peggy L. Standish, Michigan Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt passed away Monday, February 25, 2013, at Covenant Cooper, after a brief illness. Age 76 years. Peggy L. Fox was born August 25, 1936, in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Adam and Millicent (Erskine) Fox. She graduated from Hemlock High School with the Class of 1955, and worked for Lufkin Rule for several years. She married Roy H. Greif on September 8, 1956, making their home in Saginaw until moving to Standish 32 years ago. She enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening, and going to the casinos. Surviving are her husband, Roy; three sons and one daughter, Greg and Nancy Greif, Saginaw; Glen and Carolyn Greif, Standish; Tammy and Dennis Bootz, Au Gres; Thomas and Sharon Greif, Beaverton; six grandchildren, Lisa and Jennifer, Nicholas and Holly, and Matthew and Zachary; three sisters, Maxine and Norm Goschke, Owosso; Gloria and Arland Blakely, Saginaw; Margaret and Donald Schwind, Wixom Lake; several nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by a sister, Doris and Edwin Anaman. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 1, 2013, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, where her family will receive friends from 2:00 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, and then on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
