Pauline May Kraxner (Parish)

Passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017, at Covenant- Cooper. Age 91 years. The daughter of the late Clara (Flynn) and William Knoy was born February 7, 1926 in Barling, Arkansas. She married William Parish, May 13, 1922. He passed away July 9, 1974. Later she married John Kraxner, May 20, 1989. He predeceased her April 14, 1990. Pauline was employed by Heavenrichs, Seitners, Howard Johnsons and K-Mart. She volunteered with the Saginaw Fireworks, the Humane Society, Old Times Group of Saginaw and many bingos. She enjoyed going to bingos, the casino, reading, word search puzzles, sewing and quilting. Surviving are two daughters, Bonnie Miller and her special friend, Clarence Greenberg, Birch Run, MI; Susan VanSickle and her husband, William, Saginaw, MI; six grandchildren and their spouses, James Miller, Siesta, Keys, FL; William and Dee VanSickle, Saginaw, MI; Wendy VanSickle and her spouse, Cathy Buchanan, Streamwood Ill; Jennifer Godard, Saginaw, MI; Lisa and Carl Burtch, Standish, MI; William and Amanda Parish, Bay City, MI; fifteen great grandchildren; a brother, Norman Burton, Davison, MI; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was also predeceased by two children, Mary Jane Parish and William (Bill) Parish; a grandson, Richard (Rick) Miller; a sister, Alice Newberry, and her step-father, Norman Burton. The funeral service will take place at Noon Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Carol Wesolek will officiate with burial in the Loomis Cemetery. Friends may call at the Chapel from 2:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Tuesday.
