Norris Dwight Bott

Bott, Norris D. Merrill, MI Passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the age of 92 years. The son of the late Lawrence and Bessie (Gay) Bott was born on December 15, 1922 in Wheeler, MI. He married Doris M. Wright on December 29, 1944; she predeceased him on February 21, 2001. Norris worked as a farmer all his life and as a truck driver for Dow Chemical for over 30 years. He enjoyed collecting items, farming, gardening and spending time with his family. Surviving are his children and their spouses: Donald (Judy) Bott, Linda Bott, Dean Bott, daughter-in-law Lori Bott, grandchildren: James (Julie) Bott, Karen Goward, Toni Bott, great-grandchildren: Nicole and Tessa Goward, Gerad and Tiffany Bott, his brother, Ronald Bott, and many nieces and nephews and dear friends. He was predeceased by a son, Richard Lee Bott, and a grandson-in-law Ric Goward, and many brothers and sisters. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, Merrill. Rev. Jeff Hawes will officiate with burial at Richland Township Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Friday at the funeral chapel from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
