Norma J. Rogers

Norma J. Rogers Saginaw, Michigan Passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018 at New Hope Valley Assisted Living Community at the age of 94. Norma was born November 28, 1923 in Cleveland, Ohio to Sheldon and Mildred Clements. In 1928, she was adopted by France and Helen (Bebe) Goble. Norma was raised to adulthood in Michigan City, Indiana and Three Oaks, Michigan. On July 12, 1945, Norma married the love of her life, Charles H. Rogers. He predeceased her on July 20, 1992. Norma is survived by three children and their spouses: Nancy (Fred) Wigen, Saginaw; David (Barbara) Rogers, Ballwin, MO; Dan (Lynn) Rogers, Freeland; and a son-in-law Larry Rupp, Saginaw. Norma was predeceased by her daughter Susan Rupp in 1999. Norma is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Leonard of Hemet, California. Norma was a real estate agent in the Saginaw area for 20 years. She worked for the William Morgan Real Estate Company beginning in 1966. She then worked for CMW Realty as an agent and later as an associate broker, retiring in 1986. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church since moving to Saginaw in 1953. She loved traveling the country with her husband Chuck. In her later years, she enjoyed tending her yard and rose garden. She was devoted to her family. She never missed a chance to spend time with them or attend important events in their lives. Normas family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the excellent care she received in her final days at the New Hope Valley Assisted Living Community and from the Care Team Hospice organization. They allowed her to pass on peacefully, with respect and dignity, in the company of her loving family. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 14, 2018, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Saginaw. Rev. Ted McCulloch will officiate with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may visit at the chapel from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday.
