Norma G. Smith

Norma G. Smith Hemlock, Michigan Passed away Saturday November 23, 2019 at home at the age of 81 years. Norma was born February 2, 1938 in Saginaw, the daughter of the late David P. and Frances M. (Pohlman) Basner. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Hemlock. Norma married Charles J. Smith April 27, 1957. Charles predeceased her January 21, 1987. Surviving are her two children; James D. Smith and Susan L. Smith; two grandchildren; Kyle (Rachael) Smith and Clayton Smith; two great-grandchildren; Ethan and Owen Smith; several nieces and nephews. Two brothers have predeceased her David (Arlene) Basner and Gerald (Carrie) Basner. The family would like to thank Normas caregivers Paula, Marjorie, Hilary, Bobbie Jo, Mindy, Bonnie and Greg. A memorial service will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday November 27, 2019 at St. John Lutheran Church 2290 Pretzer Rd. Rev. David Mielke will officiate.
