Nancy Jean Beyer

Nancy Jean Beyer Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Monday May 6, 2019 at Samaritas of Saginaw. Age 78 years. The daughter of the late Harriet (Losee) and Carl Beyer, was born August 5, 1940 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School, Class of 1958 and attended Saginaw Business College. She married Bernhard R. Beyer, December 2, 1961. Her husband of 57 years survives her. She was employed as a Dental Assistant with private practices and then with the Aleda Lutz Veterans Adm. Medical Center. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Court and Bond Sts. She enjoyed Oil Painting, gardening, sewing, attending concerts and classical music. Nancy was a community volunteer with St. Lukes Hospital (Covenant), the Action Thrift Store and Reading to the Blind. Nancy especially enjoyed spending time with family at their cottage near AuGres, MI. Surviving besides her husband, Bernhard, are three children and their spouses, Brad R. and Laura Beyer, Gaylord, MI; Gregory L. and Jennifer Beyer, San Francisco, CA; Rebecca M. and Sam Shark, Saline, MI; six grandchildren, Sarah and Noah Beyer; Charles and Greta Beyer; Spencer and Sophia Shark; many cousins. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Noon Saturday, May 11, 2019, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Court and Bond Sts. Rev. David Naumann will officiate. Friends may visit with relatives from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service.
