Nancy Carole Leyrer Mt. Pleasant, Michigan Formerly of Saginaw Passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016, at her home. Age 73 years. The daughter of the late Wilbert and Marion (Frost) Bluemer was born February 13, 1943 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Dean Thomas Leyrer, July 6, 1974. He survives her. She was an avid reader, enjoyed family, crocheting, traveling and playing poker. Surviving besides her husband, Dean, are four children and their spouses, Cindy and Tom White; Crystal and Charles Pittman; Timothy and Rachel Frost; Carolyn K. and Jack Theile; grandchildren, Steve and Bethany Powlus; Brandon Powlus and his friend, Lindsay Simpson; Amanda Moore and her friend, Dana Moore; Randall and Lindsey Moore; Deborah and Lisa Cherry; Gabrielle Gonzalez; Jacob, Rachel and Sarah Theile; several great grandchildren; a sister and brother, Pat and Phil Strait; Dale Bluemer; several nieces and nephews. A son, Dean Thomas Leyrer Jr, and a sister-in-law, Kathy Bluemer have predeceased her. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Chapel from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the funeral service.
