Beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away on December 29, 2020 at the age of 84 years.
The son of the late Juan and Estafana (Alonso) Godina was born on May 4, 1937 in Texas. He graduated from Saginaw High School. Monico married Gloria Godina on July 10,1966; she predeceased him on February 13, 2006. He retired from GM after 31 ½ years of service.
Surviving are his children Michael (Maria) Rosas, Adrian (Andrea) Rosas and Monica Godina. His grandchildren: Adrianna Godina, Monico Tausend, Aliyah Godina-Brown; Madison Tausend, Blessing Godina. Siblings Delphina Castillo and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
At this time the family has honored Monico’s wishes and cremation has taken place. A private memorial will take place at a later date.
