Michael Obendorfer

Our loving husband, father, son and brother, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022. Age 64 years.

Michael was born on March 22, 1957, son of Carolyn (Burns) and the late Duane R. Obendorfer, in Saginaw. He married Brenda Leaman on August 16, 2018. She survives him. Michael was employed by Sunrise Distributing in Bay City. He enjoyed bowling, cornhole and going on trips to the casino. He enjoyed holding large gatherings with family and friends.

Michael is survived by his wife, Brenda; mother, Carolyn; children, Sarah (Josh) Smith, Mark (Chelsea) Obendorfer and Terry Christopher; several grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Michelle Obendorfer, Lisa (Jim) Ellis, Keith Obendorfer (Jackie Green) and David Obendorfer (Kelly Zotter); special friends, Matt and Alisha McDonald and Dan and Janet Kwaiser; many other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Mark W. Obendorfer and stepson, Sean Boughner.

Funeral service will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, January 17, 2022, at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Chaplain Andrew Cox will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service and after the service until 8:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the wishes of the family.
