Michael Joseph Hatheway

Michael Joseph Hatheway Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018. The son of the late Joseph Hatheway and Evelyn Hatheway (Howard), Michael was born August 16, 1955, in Saginaw, Michigan. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He served on the USS Kiska AE35 stationed out of NWS Concord, CA. He was decorated with Navy Expeditionary medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon {2}, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Humanitarian Service Medal, and Navy "E". Michael enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers on a hot summer night and the Detroit Lions on a cool fall day. He also enjoyed watching the Detroit Red Wings. Most of all Michael enjoys spending time with his family. He is survived by his children, Ben Hatheway, Huntsville, Alabama; Amanda Kasper and her husband Edward, Saint Charles, Michigan; Derek Hatheway, Saginaw, Michigan; Ashley Hatheway, Saginaw, Michigan; sister, Pamela Hubbell and her husband Richard, Belleville, Michigan, along with several nieces and nephews. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn Hatheway and Joseph Hatheway, and brother Daniel Hatheway. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place Saturday February 17, 2018 at St. Mark Lutheran Church 2565 N Miller Rd Saginaw, MI 48609 from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family.
