Beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at the age of 83 years. The son of the late Richard and Beulah (Ingalls) Bullinger, Mike was born June 30, 1934 in Saginaw, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of American Legion Post #439. He was employed at General Motors for 25 years. While working at General Motors, Mike continued his studies at the Detroit School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate Degree. He was then employed as Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for the County of Saginaw until his retirement. Mike married Nancy Scherzer on November 26, 1955 She predeceased him November 23, 1995. He married Marian Mikolaizyk on November 1, 1996. She predeceased him September 14, 2001. He then married Barbara (Frost) Schneidmiller on October 11, 2002. She survives him. Mike was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council #4232. He enjoyed traveling and camping and spending time with his family. Surviving besides his wife Barbara, are two sons, Michael Bullinger, Christopher and his wife Terrie Bullinger, ; step-children, James and Sue Mikolaizyk, Mary and Donald Hulle, John (Tim) and Michele Mikolaizyk, Martha Bruske, Elizabeth and Michael Sabo; Jeanne and Jeffrey Patrick and Anne Marie Lynch; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Jo Putnam; several nieces and nephews. Mike was preceded in death by a brother, William Bullinger, and by a sister, Patricia Price. Funeral Liturgy will take place 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 12, 2018 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Road in Saginaw. Rev. Fr. Peter J. Gaspeny will officiate with military burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Company, Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. where a vigil service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friends may also visit with the family at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
