Michael J. Prudhomme

Prudhomme, Michael J. Saginaw, MI Our loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at the age of 56 years. Michael was born April 13, 1958, in Saginaw to Barbara (Schmiegel) Prudhomme and the late Ren Prudhomme. He married Rita Blazejewski on July 6, 1979; she survives him. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. Michael enjoyed all hockey and football particularly the University of Michigan. Michael avidly attended hockey games at the Saginaw Bay Ice Arena and he enjoyed having coffee with his friends at the Texan. He never met a stranger and would talk to anyone. Besides his wife Rita he is survived by his children, Holly (Anthony) Bloedel and David (Rebecca) Prudhomme; grandchildren, Dominic, Lily, and Ava; siblings, Steven (Cathey) Prudhomme and Patrick (Debbie Konkol) Prudhomme; father-in-law, Joseph Blazejewski; brother-in-law, Joseph G. Blazejewski; and several nephews. He was predeceased by his son Michael Prudhomme II; brother, David L. Prudhomme; nephew, Ryan Prudhomme; and mother-in-law, Lois Blazejewski. Memorial visitation will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 26, 2014, at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Road.
