Matilda Jimenez

Jimenez, Matilda Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved mother, grandmother (Ja-Ja) and great grandma went to be with the Lord on May 14, 2019. The daughter of the late Francisco and Theresa (Gonzalez ) Delgado was born on March 14, 1935. Matilda was loved by many. In her spare time she loved to crochet, cook, watch day time soaps and talk on the phone with the ones she loved. She especially loved to make tortillas faithfully for her family and teach her grandchildren how to cook all of her amazing meals. She also loved working beside her husband Louie in the Molino making tortillas. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her daughter Anna, her grandchildren and great grandchildren and spoiling them to death. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her children Theresa Delgado, Micheal Jimenez, Josehpine Card, Edwardo Jimenez, Mary Jimenez, Anna Marie Jimenez; her grandchildren Tina (Daniel) Flores, Franciso (Courtney) Romero, Victoria (Fredrick) Dukes, Latosha (James) House, Thomas Romero, Loretta (Collin) Johnson, Micheal Jimenez Jr, Valentin Gonzalez, Raymond Romero, Catrina (Kenny) Phillips, Herman Jr (Tamika) Shivers, Micheal Gutierrez, Joe Jimenez, Cecilea (Samuel) Orosco, Antonio Jimenez, Sophia Jimenez, Julianna Jimenez, Lydia Lugo, and Sofia Menne`. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and a very special sister- in- law Rosa Castillo. Matilda was preceded in death by her loving husband Louis Jimenez and beautiful daughter Loretta Shivers. A funeral service will take place at 5:00pm on Friday May 17, 2019 at W.L. Case and Company, 5700 Dixie Highway. Father Joseph A. Schabel will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00am- 2:00pm and from 3:00pm until the time of the service.
