Mary Rosella Darling

Mary Rosella Darling Saginaw, Michigan Truly loved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother went to be with the angels on Wednesday, December 11th, 2019 after a battle with illness, with her family at her side; at the age of 84 years. The daughter of the late John and Helen (Potter) Ackley, was born on November 13, 1935 in Charlotte, Michigan. Mary married Jack Darling on December 30, 1972 in Beaverton, Michigan; he preceded her in death on July 10, 2003. A former aide at Albee Elementary School and participant in the Albee Senior Friends as well as being a caretaker for her mother and husband, Mary loved many things including watching old western TV shows, cooking, baking, spending time with her friends in Albee Township and above all stock car racing with her favorite driver being Mike Eddy. Surviving are one son and his wife, Charles "Chuck" and Brenda Darling; three grandchildren, Destiny (Brian) Howey, Brandon Curtis (fianc Michelle McMillan), Mitcheal Curtis; eight great-grandchildren, Katlyn Curtis, Alexis Curtis, Anthony Curtis, Sophia Curtis, Cheyanne Howey, Jayden Howey, Dylan Curtis, De-Angelo Curtis; one brother, Jim Ackley; one niece, Rhoda Ackley; one special friend, Yumiko Winchester; and friends from Albee Township. Honoring Marys wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted with W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel.
