Obituary

Mary Margaret Harris Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away on February 26, 2018, at the age of 91 years. Mary was born August 24, 1926, in Saginaw to the late Charles and Susan (Diamond) Baase. She married the love of her life, John J. Harris, on November 27, 1948; he survives her. She enjoyed canning, gardening, and knitting. She knitted up until she was 90 and sold her creations at Bazaars. She was a very lovable person and was cherished by all that knew her. Besides her husband of 69 years, she will be missed by her children, Richard "Dick" (Sharon) Harris, Susan Nickell, David (Muriel) Harris, Carolyn (Lenny) Hicks, Donald (Betsey) Harris, Ronald (Paula) Harris, Edward (Tammy) Harris, William (Connie) Harris; 50 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings, Charles, Edmond, John, Thomas, James, and Barbara. Funeral services will take place at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2018, at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Chaplain Randy Bickel will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until the service.
