Mary Ann Henning

Mary passed over suddenly in the comfort of her home early Friday morning, September 14, 2018. Age 66 years. Daughter of the late George and Opal (Mott) McNeil, was born December 19, 1951 in Saginaw. She married Chuck Henning on April 18, 1970. He survives her. Marys purpose in life was to love and care for her children, grandchildren, and anyone else who was blessed enough to be called her friend. She loved camping, swimming, cooking, and donating quilts and food to Veterans. Mary will be sadly missed by her husband, Chuck; their children and spouses, Traci OConnor of Saginaw, Jenny (Michael) Clever of Sanford, Alica (Mike) Betts of Elkhart, IN, CJ (April) Henning of Bay City and Aaron (Kyra) Henning of Richmond, VA; 8 grandchildren, Chelsie Holt, Jake and Rockelle OConnor, Sydney Clever, Trenton, Hailey, Collin and Marissa Henning; her siblings, Bill (Karen) McNeil, Jim McNeil, and Nina (Ron) Kwater. Mary was predeceased by her loving grandson, Austin Clever, siblings, Florence Curry, Robert, Roberta, Larry, Dick, and Daniel McNeil and her niece, Melissa McNeil. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 17, 2018, at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Rev. Ted McCulloch will officiate with burial in LaPorte Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, September 16, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to 1% food pantry.
