Martha A. Blank Sterling Heights, Michigan Formerly of Saginaw Passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at the age of 101 years. Martha was born March 19, 1916, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late F.W. and Pauline Kolb. She married Elmer G. Blank, October 12, 1940. Her husband of 63 years predeceased her, September 23, 2004. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church where she served on the Altar Guild for many years. Surviving are her granddaughter, Dawn Blank, Indianapolis, IN; grandson, John Blank (wife Denise), West Lafayette, IN; niece Arlene Kolb, Sterling Heights, MI; great grandchildren, Katelyn, Jayden and Noah; many nephews, nieces and cousins. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Jerome Blank, and her brother, Frederick W. Kolb Jr. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 31, 2017 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 600 Court St. Saginaw, Michigan, 48602. Rev. James Krueger will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Church from 10:00 a.m. Monday until the time of the funeral service.
