Age 65
Passed away on February 5th, 2022 in Saginaw Michigan. He was born March 24th, 1956 to the late Melvin & Bernice (Johnson) Schultz. In July of 1981, Mark met the love of his life Bonnie Jean Schumann while spending some time outside with a friend. When Mark’s Frisbee flew into Bonnie’s yard, he had all the excuse he needed to bump into her and it was an immediate connection. The couple married August 5th, 1983. He spent his life working as a forklift driver for General Motors and enjoyed a great number of hobbies. In his free time, Mark could be found fishing, playing golf, enjoying sports games on his PlayStation, or spending cherished time with his grandchildren. He is remembered as being a deep thinker, a jokester but honest to his core, and a fighter through-and-through.

Mark is survived by five children: Paul & Sarah Schumann, Tanya Derminer, Bernie & Nancy Gagne, Brandon Schumann, and Bill Schultz; grandchildren Basilynn, Caleb, & Madison Wyant, Lacie Kay & Taylor Michelle McKinsey, Nicholas Cane Derminer, Tyler & Katelyn Thurman, Sarah Schumann, and Kassidy, Holly, & Liam Schultz; great grandchildren Zane Anthony & Exilia Kathleen Lee, Lilyiah Kay & Ella Maye Hosford, and Marley & Koda Thurman; siblings Barry Schultz, Bonnie Ronk, and Deedee & Jim Gunlock; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.

Funeral services will take place at 6:00pm on Wednesday, February 9th at W.L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road, with visitation proceeding from 2:00pm-6:00pm.
