Stevens, Marilyn J. Saginaw, Michigan Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at the age of 81 years. Marilyn Jean Bauman was born April 30, 1935 in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Marie Margaret (DeShone) and Andrew A. Bauman. She graduated from Saginaw High School with the Class of 1953. She married Richard J. Stevens on October 8, 1955; he predeceased her August 15, 1993. Marilyn enjoyed bowling, scrapbooking, crocheting, sewing, baking cakes, and trips to Traverse City. She especially loved time spent with her family. Surviving are five daughters and their spouses, Gail and Emery Hajos, Hemlock; Terri and Michael Bragg, Vassar; Jamie Shephard, Saginaw; Brenda and James Rivet, Monroe; Julie and Gary Watson, Saginaw; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Shannon and Kerry Muska, Matthew and Katey Hajos, Stacy Valerio, Caiden Bragg, Kayla Shephard, Alyssa and Matthew Jambor, Michael and Sarah Rivet, and Kristiana and Josh Schmidt; seven great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, Madison, Lucas, Daniel, Alexis, Joshua and Mallory; a sister-in-law, Nancy Bauman; several nieces, nephews and their families. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a granddaughter, Mary Valerio, and by three brothers, Robert, James and John Bauman. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2016, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road. Her family will receive friends at the funeral chapel from 4:00 7:00 p.m. on Thursday and then on Friday from 12:00 noon until the time of service. Rev. Ronald Sinclair will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery.
