Margaret L. (Tolfree) Hamling

Passed away at her home after a lingering illness. She was 54 years of age. Margaret Tolfree was born in Saginaw on October 27, 1963, to John and the late Lucy (Heaslip) Tolfree. She married Larry Hamling on June 13, 1998, and he survives her. Margaret was employed for many years by the County of Saginaw, working with many of the divisions of the District and Circuit Courts. She was an avid artist, loved roller coasters and her animals, and was an enthusiastic fisherwoman. Margaret was a very caring and loving person who loved life and knew that it was precious. Margaret is survived by her loving and devoted spouse Larry who attended to her daily. She is also survived by her father, John Tolfree, and many uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by her brothers, Jack and Earl; her sisters, Jennifer and Katie; and her mother-in-law, Grace Hamling. Funeral liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018, at St. Dominic Parish, St. Stephen Church. Rev. Emmanuel Akpolobokemi will officiate with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
