Margaret Garza Lawrence

Lawrence, Margaret Garza Merrill, Michigan Margaret Garza Lawrence went to heaven on March 21, 2015 after suffering a severe stroke. She was born to Mateo and Maria de Jesus Garza on June 4, 1948, in Hemlock, Michigan. She graduated from Merrill High School in 1967. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church. Margaret started working for Eaton Corporation in Saginaw in 1967. It was here that she met and later married her husband Robert Lawrence on July 19, 1969. Her parents and sisters Lucille, Irene, and Elida, met her in heaven. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Robert Lawrence Jr., along with two brothers, and three sisters. She loved her nieces and nephews and their children. She loved racquetball, softball, and her many dogs and cats. Funeral service will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2015, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 125 E. Saginaw Street, Merrill, where her family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. Saturday until the time of service. Rev. Fr. Joseph Schabel will officiate.
