Margaret Dixon Rusch

Margaret Dixon Rusch, age 86, formerly of Saginaw and Midland, Michigan died on April 28, 2015. Margaret was born on February 3, 1929, in Saginaw County to Dorris (Clark-Dixon) Boyce and the late George Dixon, and was also the beloved stepdaughter of Clifford Boyce. Margaret was raised on her grandmother's farm near Merrill, Michigan and graduated from Merrill High School in 1947. She was married to Eldon Rusch of Saginaw for 52 years. He preceded her in death on January 16, 2000. Her only sibling Wilbur Dixon of Beverly Hills, Florida also preceded Margaret in death in 2006 Margaret is survived by three children and their spouses: son, David and Nancy (Hardy) Rusch of St. Louis, Michigan, daughter Brenda Rusch and her husband David McCullen of Traverse City, and son Daniel Rusch and Alicia (Lopez) Rusch of Benzonia. A beloved family matriarch Margaret is survived by several grandchildren and their spouses: Jason Rusch, Sarah (Rusch) Hildenbrand and David Hildenbrand, Elizabeth (McCullen) and Dan Kuhl, Aubrey McCullen and Matt Radler, Calvin Rusch, Leigha Rusch, Eleesa Harrison and Martyn Harrison. Margaret had three great grandchildren, Sophia Rusch, Jane and Claire Hildenbrand. For many years Margaret and Al spent winters in Bonita Springs, Florida, and would return to Michigan to spend summers with their children and grandchildren in Frankfort enjoying beaches and boating activities with family. We are all fortunate to have had her be a part of our lives' for so long. Each of us has been given one of the greatest gifts a person can give another ---to love and be loved by her. Margaret is at peace and with her loved ones that have preceded her in death. She will be remembered forever in our thoughts, hearts and our stories of her as we live on. Margaret chose to be cremated and a memorial service and interment will be held at the grave site in the Lakefield Twp. Cemetery with the immediate family at some future date.www.casefuneralhome.com
