Margaret C. Simons

Simons, Margaret C. Kawkawlin, Michigan Formerly of Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Friday, February 10, 2017, at Huron Woods Nursing Center in Kawkawlin, at the age of 87 years. Margaret C. Miller was born November 8, 1929, in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Gale and Ada (Huston) Miller. She graduated from Saginaw High School with the Class of 1947. She married Earl F. Simons in 1947; he predeceased her August 24, 2012. She had been employed by Sullivan's Restaurant on East Genesee Street for over 30 years. She enjoyed crocheting. Surviving are her children, Gary and Marcia Simons, Kawkawlin, Michigan; Rita Randle, Fountain, Michigan; five grandchildren: Stacy (Brian) McClure, Wendy Randle, Kris Randle, Korey (Kayla) Reinhardt, and Kristi (Tom) Trotter; seven great-grandchildren: Megan, Alex, Gabby, Brie, Leah, Annabelle and Landon. She was predeceased by her grandson, Scott Simons, and by two sisters and four brothers. Her family will would like to extend special thanks to all at Huron Woods Nursing Center for their kindness and care. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Highway, where her family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service. Rev. Rob Richards will officiate with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
