Margaret B. (Peggy) Ashmall

Margaret "Peggy" B. Ashmall Gouldsboro, ME. Formerly of Saginaw Margaret "Peggy" B. Ashmall passed from time to eternity April 12 at home. She was born December 23, 1942 in Saginaw MI, the daughter of George and Margaret Baldwin Paine. After graduation from Arthur Hill High School, Saginaw MI, Peggy earned an Associates degree from Delta College, MI. She headed the vehicle leasing department of Wickes Lumber Company for many years, and completed her career as a Housing Specialist for the Saginaw (MI) Housing Commission, after which she and her husband Don retired to Gouldsboro, ME. During her career she was an active member of Michigan Avenue Baptist Church and later the inspiration of fellowship groups and other ministries of Bridgeport Community Church. Her outgoing and generous personality made everyone she met, a friend. Peggy is survived by her loving husband Donald; by her son John Wier and his daughter Kendall, by her daughter Wendy Groll, her husband Robert and their daughter Nina; by Dons sons Donald Ashmall Jr., his wife Misti and their sons Alex and Ryan; and Robert Ashmall, his wife Dawn and their sons Anthony and Connor; by her sisters Susan; Barbara Fribley and her husband Jerome; and Georgeann Haught and her husband Rod; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be 11 am Monday April 22 at Bridgeport Community Church, 3821 State Street, Bridgeport MI with calling hours 2-4 and 6-8 pm April 21 at Case Funeral Home, 4480 Mackinaw, Saginaw, MI. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Saginaw, MI. A memorial service will be held in Gouldsboro this summer. Gifts in Peggys memory to Bridgeport Community Church (MI); the Saginaw County (MI) Animal Care Center; or the West Gouldsboro (ME) Union Church.
