Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020 at her home with her family at the age of 62 years.
The daughter of the late James C. Davis and Jacklyn Schuette Davis was born on March 25, 1958 in Saginaw, Michigan. She attended Swan Valley Schools. Malinda married Stephen Szyperski, Jr. on November 18, 1981; he survives her. She was employed as an LPN at Saginaw VA Hospital. She was then employed as a registered nurse at the Saginaw Osteopathic Hospital, Fresenius Regional Dialysis Center, and ICU and CCU at Covenant Healthcare. Malinda enjoyed gardening, reading, camping, acquiring antiques and collectables, traveling with family, especially her grandchildren. She had a love of raising her chickens and naming each one. She also adored her dogs, Bella and Jilly.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Stephen, two children: Aaron (Jenny) Chaltraw and Beth (Michael) Rowe; her mother, Jacklyn May; grandchildren: Nicholas Rowe, Nathan Rowe, and Brayden Chaltraw, a sister, Peggy Davis (Les) Carder of Grandville, half-brothers: James A. (Sherry) Davis of Hudsonville and Joel Forrest of Kalamazoo, half-sister, Jeanine Forrest (David) Martin of Saginaw, step-brother James (Laurie) Forrest Jr. of Freeland, her lifetime friend since elementary school, Kelley Essex Lambert. Both fans of Leo “Elvis” Days, a tribute artist. A mother-in-law, Alice Szyperski, sisters-in-law: Carolyn (Terry) Chaudhary and Connie (Scott) Szczepaniak Sr., brothers-in-law: Ed (Peggy) Szyperski, David (Kelly) Szyperski, her godmother, Lorraine Cruska of North Carolina, as well as many aunts, uncles, and nieces and nephews that loved spending time with their Aunt Lindy.
Malinda was predeceased by her father, James Davis in 1963, her step-father, James Forrest Sr., step-brother, Rick Forrest, her grandparents: James and Ruth Davis of Saginaw, Oliver and Mary Schuette of Saginaw and Charlevoix, father-in-law, Steve Szyperski, Sr., and brother-in-law Allen Szyperski.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at a later date when public gatherings are permitted to honor Malinda.
