Madonna Mary Lambertson

Madonna Mary Lambertson, age 77, was reunited with her husband of 35 years, when she was called home on April 1, 2020.

Born June 25, 1942 to Margaret (Bennett) and Stanley Sample in Saginaw, Michigan, Madonna had a lifelong love for adventure mixed with a strong sense of loyalty and responsibility.

Madonna met her husband, Harold George Lambertson, on a blind date and they wed July 16, 1960. The couple went on to have five children, Harold (Kate) Lambertson, Jr., Matthew Lambertson (Alberta Guralczyk), Marshall (Angie) Lambertson, Lauren (Michael) Leeds, and Dee (Nate) Throop.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Madonna also loved painting, sewing, ceramics and making porcelain dolls in her own kiln. While much of her adult life was dedicated to raising her children, Madonna was also an accomplished seamstress.
Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.

Madonna joins her husband, parents, and brother Larry in Heaven. She is survived by all her children; step-son Mitch (Gail) Tremblay; grandchildren Jessica (Richard) Herrera, Abigail (Chris) Richards, Meagan Lambertson, Matthew Lambertson II, Armoni Lambertson, Noah Lambertson, Adam Lambertson, Joshua Lambertson, Anna Lambertson, and Henry Leeds; great-granddaughter Frances Herrera; step-grandchildren Melissa Morgan, Heather Wallace, Derrick Tremblay, Kenneth Tremblay and Michael Tremblay; sister Betty Hare; sister-in-law Joan Sample; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date after the pandemic stay at home order has expired and it is safe to gather together again.

In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the East Side Soup Kitchen of Saginaw.
