Lynda Rae Sutton

Lynda Rae Sutton, 70, of Hemlock, Michigan, passed away late Monday, January 21, 2019 at Indiana Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 16, 1948 in Muncie, Indiana, to the late Harlan and Wilamine Naomi (Friar) Mills. Lynda was a proud 1966 graduate of Muncie Central High School. She married Michael O. Bergan on September 27, 1969; he preceded her in death on October 31, 2006. Lynda later married Vaughn Sutton on August 10, 2013; he survives her. She retired from the Saginaw County Health Department after 21 years of dedicated service. Lynda is also survived by her daughter, Shelly (Timo) Tiitola of Saginaw; a son, Scott Bergan of Saginaw; three grandchildren, Zackery, Hunter and Kennady; two sons, Aaron (Kira) Sutton and Jason Sutton of Indiana; five grandchildren, Ashley, Jacob, Eva, Jayden and Isaac of Indiana; a sister, Synda Walburn of Muncie, IN; a sister-in-law, Janet (Steve) Mills-Marvin of Muncie, IN; two special cousins, Sharon and Lana; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jill Werth, Sue and Denny Bruno, Jeff and Cathy Yergin. Lynda is preceded in death by her brother, Phil Mills. A gathering of friends and family will take place at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Honoring Lyndas wishes cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the National Breast Cancer Foundation or the American Heart Association.
