Louise May Combs

Combs, Louise May Saginaw, Michigan Passed away early Saturday, August 30, 2014, at St. Francis Home, at the age of 87 years. Louise May Cox was born December 23, 1926, the daughter of the late Frances M. (Decker) and James E. Cox Sr. She had been employed as a secretary for St. Mary's Hospital, Carl King Enterprises, and Community Village. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Louise had been a resident of St. Francis Home for the past year. Louise and William B. Combs, deceased, had six beloved children. Surviving are two daughters and two sons, Barbara A. Combs, Saginaw, Daniel W. Combs (Beverly Hoard), Gladwin; Dianne Lee (Daniel) Tonello, Fruita, Colorado; Paul D. Combs, Saginaw; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by two sons, Stephen J. and Matthew J. Combs, and by two brothers, James Jr. and Paul D. Cox. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1525 S. Washington Avenue, where her family will receive friends from 12:00 noon Wednesday until the time of Mass. Fr. Thai, from St. Francis Home, will officiate, assisted by Deacon Roger.
