Lois Irene Benz

Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Tuesday March 1, 2022 at the age of 99 years. Lois was born February 20, 1923 in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Clarence and Edna (McKinney) Blodgett. She married Carl E. Benz April 21, 1948; Carl predeceased her February 21, 1973. Lois was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Saginaw,

Surviving are her children Carl (Rena) Benz; Kay (Bill Dvoretsky) Cochran; two grandchildren; Darleen (Clark) Carty and Jennifer (Chase Peavy) Benz; six great-grandchildren; Victoria, Ethan, Sailor, Crews, Ocean and Southern; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband Lois was predeceased by a son Kurt Benz.

Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday March 5, 2022 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church 808 Weiss St. Rev. Michael Korte will officiate, with burial to follow in Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery.
