Lois Bernice (Moll) Boruszewski of Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, January 2, 2022, at MidMichigan Hospital in Clare. She was 72 years old. Lois Bernice Moll was born on April 17, 1949, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Vernon and Agnes Bernice (McLaren) Moll. She was a proud graduate of both Saginaw High School and Delta College. She married the love of her life, James "Jim" Boruszewski; he preceded her in death on November 22, 2010. Lois worked her entire career as a preschool teacher with Saginaw Head Start. She enjoyed crafts, especially quilting and scrapbooking. Lois also enjoyed gardening with her grandchildren. She loved all her pets dearly, but dog Tinkerbell held a special place in her heart. Lois also held a deep affinity toward panda bears; often collecting anything panda related. She will forever be remembered by family as "Rosebud", being a two-time cancer survivor, and for being a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Lois left her indelible mark in this world for selflessly dedicating her entire life to mentoring and caring for children.
Surviving are five sons and a daughter: James "Beau" Boruszewski of Clarkston; Shannon "Dac" (Caron) Boruszewski of Carrollton; Keith (Kelli) Boruszewski of Grand Rapids; David (Gretchen) Boruszewski of Bay City; Stacey Boruszewski of Harrison; Joshua (Angela) Boruszewski of Saginaw; 12 grandchildren: Ashley, Courtney, Zack, Caitlin, Oakleigh, Aspen, Lance, Aaliya, Dexter, Miguel, Brooklyn, and Cash; a great-granddaughter, Carley Jean. Also surviving are two brothers and four sisters, many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and two brothers, Michael and Vernon Moll.
A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Rev. Fr. Steve Gavit will officiate. Honoring Lois' wishes cremation will follow the service. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
