Lea Carol Winfrey

Passed away peacefully, Monday, October 23, 2017, at her home. Age 63 years. The daughter of the late Erdie Dee (Walker) and Flint Winfrey was born December 25, 1953 in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from Buena Vista High School and received her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Nursing from Wayne State University. She was employed by the Saginaw County Community Mental Health Authority. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Adrian and Naomi Belvin; three grandchildren, Lea Carol Belvin, Meara Chanel Belvin and Sariya Aya Belvin; her sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Earl Hatten; her niece and nephew, Eric Wilson and Sonia Teasdell. Her brother, Rodney J. Winfrey, has predeceased her. Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held from 1:00-5:00 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2017, at the W. L. Case and Co.
