Larry W. Ward

Ward, Larry Wayne Lansing, Michigan Passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at his home, age 46 years. Larry was born on January 20, 1969 in Bay City, son of Ray L. and Janice (Srodes) Ward, they survive him. Larry was raised in Hemlock and a graduate of Hemlock High School, Class of 1987. He was employed by General Motors with 25 years of service as a pipefitter. He was an avid University of Michigan fan, loved fast cars, snowmobiling and sports of any kind. Larry loved to dance and a two-step was always in order! You couldn't be in his presence very long before you would have a smile on your face. He was a jokester, uplifted everyone who was around him and will always be remembered for his great personality. Besides his parents Ray and Janice Ward, he is survived by his siblings, Roy K. (Tammy) Ward, Merrill, MI, Victor C. (Julie) Ward, Fallion, NV, Theresa M. (Richard Brzak) Ward; his nieces, Kasandra M. (Larry Washburn) Ward, Alesha A. (James) Bethke and Kory Knickerbocker; his great nieces, Ava and Karlie Bethke; his great nephew Taylor Bethke; his very dear friend, Maribel Dionel; and also many special aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at W. L. Case and Company, 201 N. Miller Road. Rev. Richard E. Mundt will officiate with burial in Lakefield Township Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, April 27, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
